Carpentry

Carpentry is one of the fundamental skills in technical and vocational education. It involves the art and science of cutting, shaping, assembling, and finishing wood and other construction materials to create functional and aesthetic structures. From simple wooden projects to complex building components, carpentry plays a vital role in construction, furniture making, and interior works.

            This course introduces students to essential safety standards, proper planning of woodworking projects, classification of tools and materials, basic principles of carpentry, and finishing materials. Emphasis is placed on safe laboratory practices, correct tool handling, and practical application through project planning and execution.

            By the end of this course, students will not only understand theoretical concepts but also demonstrate proper workmanship and responsible behavior in the carpentry workshop.
